The best hmmm... "tortillas" (I am using the term loosely) I have bought and tasted in a long time are inspired in a Bible recipe, Ezekiel 4:9 to be accurate. I bought them because the words "New Mexico - Whole Grain - Tortilla" caught my eye, and it wasn't until a few minutes ago, that I fried one of those inspirational tortillas with a couple of pieces of salami to dip the whole thing in some jalapeƱo cheese, that I took the time to read the prominently displayed "Ezekiel 4:9" letters right there, staring at my face from the counter. "What? Ezekiel 4:9, that's a pretty awkward brand for some organic tortillas", I thought. It wasn't until I read the fine print which quoted the "Bible's recipe" for bread (or tortillas... aren't them flat bread, after all?), and saw the branch-carrying white dove, that I started feeling guilty for having a Bible-based midnight snack. Who knew the Israelites in exile were probably around New Mexico when the Book of Ezekiel was written??

I actually like the green thingy which jumps across the screen, and the dove too. That green jumping creature must be the way to lure the gays into buying Bible-inspired whole grain tortillas, and the white dove seems a gayelle reference. At least to me.
